SX Kinetics designed and manufactured this solvent extraction pilot plant for the production of high purity zirconium. On site technical consulting was provided by SX Kinetics for plant set up and operation.

SX Kinetics designed and manufactured this solvent extraction pilot plant for a project to recover zirconium from an ore body in Brazil. On site technical consulting was provided by SX Kinetics for plant set up and operation.

SX Kinetics designed and manufactured this pilot plant for a project to clean and stabilize gasoil (diesel fuel or heating oil) produced from waste motor oil. The pilot plant used air gear motor to drive the impellers and air motors coupled to gear pumps for the feed pumps. SX Kinetics provided operator training. The plant was shipped to a site in Belgium.

This pilot plant was designed for operation at 150 °C, well above the flash point of the solvent. It was manufactured from  stainless steel with conductive teflon lined tubing.

The plant included 6 mixer-settlers that can be configured for any number of extraction stages.
